Bridges to Parent Voice (Mental Health Support) provides support groups for parents of children with challenging behaviors/mental health issues, workshops, and resource information. Call 360-692-1582 for additional information.
Campfire USA provides babysitting services for children with developmental disabilities. It is also starting a monthly activity group for teens with special needs. Call Jesse Gaudio at 360-377-5513 for additional information.
CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder) Kitsap County Chapter meets the second Tuesday of each month in Silverdale at the Peninsula Bible Fellowship Church, 1111 NE Waaga Way. Head Start Program in Kitsap County has several local programs. The Bainbridge Island Program is administered through Kitsap Community Resources (KCR), 360-473-2075, and the North Kitsap Program has programs administered both by KCR or Olympic Educational Service District 114 (OESD 144), 360-478-6897. Either program can share information about locations, enrollment requirements, etc.

Kitsap County Father’s Support Network meets the third Saturday of each month from 10am to noon, but call to confirm. Mom’s Time Out is a group that supports all mothers of children with special needs. Information and ideas are exchanged while friendships are built in the community. It meets the third Friday of every month at Starbucks across from the Wal-Mart in East Bremerton. Call Charelaine at 360-692-3701 for additional information.
